Renewable energy is becoming more and more important in future society. The business around renewable energy is growing rapidly and technologies are being invented and developed at a fast paste. All the information about new developments can be found on the web,.. somewhere.
As a Belgian Engineer student, I have always been very interested in energy coming from renewable resources. During my years at high school and college, I have been doing a lot of research. Now I want to share my knowledge about this topic with everyone who is interested, by starting this site.
Renewable-energy-info is an attempt to educate visitors to the importance of the use of renewable energy sources. I don’t want to reinvent the wheel, but I will put all the pieces of the puzzle together, giving a complete overview. All different types of techniques, where they are in use, or current projects who are working on them. With most of the different technique, there will be a “How it works” section, explaining in a straight forward way the science behind the object.
You will find lots of educational material on the website in the form of pictures and videos, regarding the explained subject. This makes discovering renewable energy a nicer experience and can be clarifying, or just give you a better impression on everything that is around out there.
To the best of my knowledge, the information found on this site is accurate. However, mistakes happen. If you find something is confusing or incomplete, perhaps there are some topics you would have wanted to see different or topics that aren’t mentioned, don’t hesitate to contact.
