Global warming

Global warming is a very hot topic in many ways.

In one corner we have the scientists. There are hard discussions on every topic regarding global warming. Going from what the causes are to this phenomena, to what of the effects and changes of the climate is due to humans. Some even doubt the very existence of global warming, saying there is no hard proof.

A picture of a burning planet earthIn the other corner, we find the politicians. Discussing hard on topics they think, knowing much about. With self-interest in the back of their heads, strengthen by “research documents” (from research mostly financed by themselves), and anything but a long term vision, they go into debate with always no result in the end. A recent example is the treaty of Copenhagen. All world leaders assembled to discuss their vision on global warming and to set themselves goals on their reduction of greenhouse gasses. As expected, no results came out. Does there has to be a massive nature disaster to shake world leaders awake?
